I love reading. I love books, magazines, and short stories. You name it, I love reading it. I believe that if you say you don’t like to read, it’s because you just haven’t found what you like to read yet. Maybe you don’t want to read a 400-page novel but reading something about the Kardashians might be fun for you. That’s okay. Reading should be fun!
I started the Bathroom Book Club because I meet a lot of people who say they don’t have time to read but want to. Research shows that almost everyone takes their phone to the bathroom and stays even longer because of it. So when people tell me they don’t have time to read, I tell them to stop taking their phones to the bathroom. Here’s how the Bathroom Book Club works:
Step 1: Instead of taking your phone to the bathroom, take a book.
Step 2: Read a few pages while you do your business.
Step 3: Leave the book in the bathroom and read a few pages each time you’re there.
Here are a few things to keep in mind. It’s okay if it takes you a while to finish the book. I’m a super slow reader and read most of my books in the bathroom. Another thing. You will eventually take the book out of the bathroom because you’re enjoying it. That’s the idea!
P.S. The Bathroom Book Club is not an official book club lol. It’s just a fun way to get more people to read.
