Your costs for counseling depend on the specifics of your insurance plan. Please call the number on the back of your insurance card to ask about your cost for mental health services. I am “in-network” with Aetna, Anthem (Blue Cross Blue Shield), Cigna (Evernorth), and Medical Mutual, and a few others. Your costs could vary from $0 to $125. We won’t know until you check your health insurance benefits. If you don’t have insurance, the cost is $125 for the assessment and $100 for the following sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You may choose to utilize Out-of-Network (OON) benefits if available. What this means is that you pay the session fee upfront and then file a claim with your insurance company to reimburse you. Many insurance companies will reimburse between 40-70% of the total cost per session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For example, my per session rate is $100. You would pay this at the time of your appointment. After you file your claim, your out-of-pocket cost may be $60 per session. This is just an example.
